The works shown on this page are from magazines where Mark Dell'Aquila contributed to them either by writing, licensing photos to them, or hired as a free-lance photographer to shoot for them. Marie Claire and Rebecca Romijn is one such assignment. Some of the images to the left show the cover of the magazine where the work was published, yet those images are to show only the issue date and artwork.
Mark first got published back in the early 90's and has written articles about dive travel, tattoos and future cars. His work within the realm of underwater and the lighting industry has also been published in many magazines, such as National Geographic, LD+A, Residential Interiors and Illuminate Magazine.
The tattoo magazine writing all came about after Mark filmed and photographed the local tattooing while doing a film about Western Samoa and he was then approached by an editor at Larry Flynt's Skin and Ink Magazine. Mark completed the article that covered nearly twenty-five pages within the magazine. After that article was published, Mark then completed four more articles for Skin & Ink, about Vancouver, Canada, New Orleans, Louisiana, Venice Beach, California and New York City, New York.
